Liverpool are being linked with a summer move for former Barcelona striker Bojan Krkic but are unlikely to meet the asking price, according to the TalkSport.
The 22-year-old had looked as though he was going to join AC Milan after spending a year on loan at the San Siro from Roma, after scoring just three times in 19 outings, the Italian giants have decided against making a move.
They had an agreed fee of £12.5m in place for the player but are not willing to pursue the deal, while Liverpool are unlikely to want to pay that sort of money either.
There are a few other clubs interested and both Arsenal and Spurs have also been linked, which may push the price up.
The Reds main striker concern this summer will be to keep Luis Suarez at the club after he admitted it would be difficult to turn down an offer from Real Madrid if they were to make an approach.
